Buying vintage accessories and furnishings -- with a leaning toward the necessities of modern conveniences -- is recycling at its finest in my opinion. Vintage accessories and furniture bring a richer look to any room, more so than recently-made products. Everyone may love Home Goods and the other "Big Box Stores", full of decorative items from China, but I prefer the quality vintage furnishings bring, making new things appear "cheap" in comparison. As a rule, I may occasionally buy towels and bedding at those stores, incidentals. "Stuff" from the "Big Box Stores" usually ends up at the Thrift Stores, so perhaps buying what you need from a Thrift Store can save you money, money that can be used toward high-end vintage furnishings such as the kind sold at our gallery. Vintage home decorating is investment which increases in value over time in a way poor-quality new items will not.

The pictures below were taken in the bedroom of my home. Vintage paintings, table, dresser, the bed frame -- most are examples of a keen eye toward "vintage investment".
